Bread Bonda recipe

This is a tasty snack that can be prepared with leftover bread and banana.We can make it very easily.

Makes :21 bondas
Ingredients

Bread - 8
Banana - 2
Semolina ( Rava ) -
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Sugar -1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Cardamom - 2
Cumin seeds - 1/8 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Method
Grind bread well and keep aside.


Grind sugar with cardamom, cumin seeds and salt.Then add banana into it and grind as a smooth paste.

Pour the mix into a bowl.Then add 1 tbsp of ghee and mix well.
Add semolina and coconut into it then mix well.Keep aside for 10 minutes to soak.
Finally add bread powder and knead well.If the dough is thick sprinkle some water on it and knead.The dough must be thin and soft.
Grease your hand and make small balls.It should be rolled as smooth ball without any cracks.
Heat oil in a kadai Once the oil gets really hot reduce the flame to medium.Only flip the balls after 1 minute.Then fry the balls until it turns to brown color.
When it is ready drain into a kitchen towel.Its crispy outside and inside is soft.Serve with tea.
Note
- Adjust sugar as your taste.
- Make sure to make soft dough.
